My 3 Favorite Yoga Poses

My Yoga Journey

In the summer of 2019 I went to my first hot yoga class. I have been practicing hot yoga now for about 2 years. The hot yoga series I do is based on Bikram style yoga. Bikram yoga is known to be a very intense form of yoga that practices a series of postures in a heated room up to 105 degrees F. Even though this is an extreme level of heat to practice yoga in, I actually find it to be incredibly therapeutic. The heat itself has a powerful way of releasing all the stress that builds up in the body and the mind, and when combined with simple yoga poses the healing benefits multiply.
