Salt Creek Beach

Description

A white sandy beach adored by surfers and sunbathers in the Orange County area. It is located right below the Ritz Carlton resort as well. Above the beach is a beautiful grassy park area overlooking the ocean. This is a great park for families and friends to come together for picnics and BBQs. In my opinion it is probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Orange County with so much to offer.

Getting There

Salt Creek Beach is located off Pacific Coast Highway.

Address: 11 Ritz-Carlton Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629

Parking

The only parking available is in the parking lot is located off of Ritz-Carlton Drive.  There is a small fee to park but it is definitely worth it.

The parking lot gives a direct path down the hill to the beach. The hill down to the beach is pretty steep and can be quite a hike for those carrying a ton of beach equipment (chairs, coolers, toys, etc). However, I have seen golf cart assistance available to help those who need a ride down or a ride back up.

Note: No dogs allowed on the beach. Dogs only permitted on the park area.
